We understand the challenges of balancing therapy appointments with everyday life commitments. For this reason, Calmness Psychology was created as an exclusive online clinic, providing flexible and accessible psychological support.

Telehealth can have many benefits including

  • Convenience of accessing therapy from home without the need to travel or commute

  • Greater flexibility, making it easier to schedule sessions around work, study, or family commitments

  • Promote a sense of safety and comfort if not wanting to attend appointments in person

  • Increased accessibility regardless of location, which can be especially helpful for those in remote areas

  • Options for afterhours appointments to accommodate for busy schedules 

 

Online therapy is conducted in the same way as in-person therapy and has been found to be equally effective in treating a range of psychological conditions. The same confidentiality standards apply to online therapy as they would to in-person therapy. 

To attend a telehealth appointment, you will need a reliable Wi-Fi connection and a quiet, comfortable space. Sessions can be accessed via phone, iPad, laptop, or PC, with a working camera and microphone required. All appointments are conducted through a secure platform, with your privacy protected to the same standard as in-person sessions.

Individual suitability for telehealth will be discussed prior to your first appointment to ensure this mode of therapy is suitable for your needs.
